The first annual Empty Bowls Hosted by HVS Art 8 is on Thursday, May 11, from 6-7:30 PM, in the Hermosa Valley MPR. Join Ms. Ripley and her HVS Art 8 students for a simple meal of soup and bread in a bowl to help bring awareness to local, national, and global hunger - Think Globally, Act Locally. 40 tickets at $40 minimum donation are available via this Google Doc Interest Form and include a handmade ceramic bowl, soup and bread, and the first view of the HVS Art Show. All proceeds will go to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. This event is brought to you by HVS Art 8 and generous donations made by Good Stuff, Café Bonaparte, and Martha's in Hermosa Beach.
