HBCSD New Student Enrollment For The 2024-2025 School Year Is NOW OPEN!

 

Our teachers, administrators, and support staff are committed to academic excellence and quality service for our families. As such, we want to make the enrollment process as quick and convenient as possible. To enroll, follow the steps below.

 

Before you Start

What grade is your student eligible for enrollment? 

  • If your child HAS attended a public or private school in California: The student will be promoted to the next grade for the following school year unless retention papers are provided in the student's school cumulative file.
  • How do you know what grade level you should enroll your child in? View the 2023-2025 Grade Level Placement chart for guidance. Please contact your school if you have any questions regarding grade-level placement.

2024-2025 HBCSD New Student Pre-Registration - NOW OPEN for NEW STUDENTS (TK-8 Grade) to the District.

 

2023-2024 HBCSD New Student Pre-Registration - NOW OPEN for NEW STUDENTS (TK-8th Grade) to the District.

 

Inter-District Permit Student Registration

HBCSD is currently accepting inter-district permits for students. If your family resides in another school district, you may apply for a permit to attend Hermosa Beach City School District for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. If you want to learn more, please click here for the next steps. HBCSD must first accept your permit application before you can begin the New Student Enrollment process.

 

Returning Student Registration

Current HVS students who will be returning to HBCSD in the fall will be required to complete registration paperwork that will come out during the summer of 2024. Updated information will be posted here.
