HVPTO: Cara Mentzel (Co-Author of Loud Mouse & Proud Mouse) Visits Hermosa View Kinder & 1st Graders

Cara Mentzel, who co-authored the books Loud Mouse and Proud Mouse, with her sister, Tony Award-winner Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa in Disney's Frozen) will be a guest reader at Hermosa View on Tuesday, March 26, for a 1st Grade Assembly (9:00-9:30 AM) and Kinder Assembly (9:45-10:15 AM). Cara is a former teacher and her books have great messages about friendship and being proud of yourself so we can't wait to have her come read.

In anticipation of Cara Mentzel's visit, HVPTO has partnered with {pages} a bookstore if you'd like to purchase a copy of her book, Proud Mouse, to be delivered to school for the day of her visit. Pre-order by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20 and 20% of the proceeds will be donated back to HVPTO. IMPORTANT: At checkout, scroll down and select "Pick-Up Options" and then, "I would like to pick this order up at the store," so that {pages} a bookstore knows to deliver your book to Hermosa View for Cara's visit.
