The Hermosa Valley 8th Grade Promotion Speech Tryouts will take place during lunch from June 4-6. Every 8th grader wrote a promotion speech, and many chose to audition by presenting theirs aloud to their classmates. Fourteen students were voted by their peers to advance to the next round. During these lunchtime tryouts, the finalists will present their speeches to a panel of teachers. Two students will be selected to deliver their speeches at the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Wednesday, June 11. Good luck to all the finalists!
