HVPTO invites all HVS families to come to the 2025 Annual Back-to-School Picnic on Friday, September 5, from 4:30-7:00 PM, on the Hermosa Valley blacktop & field. Bring your chairs, blankets, and sweaters (it can get chilly!) and enjoy a relaxed, late-summer evening catching up with classmates, friends, and families.
Pack your own picnic or preorder dinner provided by Piccini Italian Takeout, featuring chicken tenders, pastas, salads, and sandwiches. Preorder deadline was extended to Wednesday, September 3, at 10:00 AM. While at the picnic, stop by the information fair to learn more about school groups, local organizations, and businesses. Also, don't forget to pick up brand-new Spirit Wear to show your HVS pride!
Middle school students can volunteer at the event to earn service points. Parents/guardians and students are encouraged to sign up for a shift together.
This event is a great way to kick off another great school year!
