Hermosa Vista will host a special Author Visit with New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Lange, creator of the beloved Grumpy Monkey series, for 2nd & 3rd graders on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1:30-2:30 PM in the Hermosa Vista MPR. In partnership with {Pages a bookstore}, Ms. Lange will be coming to celebrate her newest release, Archibald and the Furry Dinosaurs. Check out this video Ms. Meyers put together.
 
Families may purchase signed copies of Ms. Lange's new book and previous titles through Pages for delivery to Hermosa Vista on the day of her visit. To ensure school delivery, orders must be received by Friday, January 9, 2026, and "pickup at the store" should be selected at checkout to avoid shipping charges.
