The Science Olympiad's Regional Competition results are in! On Saturday, 2/26, our HVS SciOly team placed 6TH OVERALL for the LA Region out of 48 teams in our Division! This means they have qualified for the SoCal State Science Olympiad Tournament on Saturday, April 2nd! HVS SciOly will continue meeting under the direction of Ms. Loth throughout this next month to prepare for the event.
In addition to our HVS SciOly team success, some teammates also earned individual medals in several events. They came so close to medaling in a few other events too! Medals were awarded to the top six teams in each event. Here are our medal-winning partnerships:

Mousetrap Vehicle, 4th place: Isaac and Amia
Sounds of Music, 5th place: Ashley and Ellie
