Hermosa Beach City School District is committed to providing safe, clean, and well-maintained learning environments where students can thrive. Every classroom, hallway, playground, and school facility is designed to support a positive and productive educational experience.
With funding from Measure S and Measure HV, we will continue to enhance our elementary and middle schools, ensuring they meet the highest safety, functionality, and sustainability standards. Our dedicated team works year-round to maintain, repair, and improve school buildings, grounds, and infrastructure, whether it’s upgrading safety systems, maintaining athletic fields, or keeping classrooms comfortable for learning.
We recognize that the quality of the learning environment directly impacts student success, and we take pride in creating spaces that inspire learning and growth.
To help you better understand the purpose and progress of our school bond investments, we've created two helpful resources:
- Measure HV Bond 101: A quick overview of what happens after Measure HV's approval, including planning, funding, design, and construction. Learn how projects move forward and how the community stays involved.
- Hermosa School Bonds FAQs: A clear comparison of Measure HV with past bonds (Measure S and Measure J), with answers to common questions about funding, tax rates, timelines, and project goals.
For more information about our ongoing projects and initiatives, we invite you to explore this webpage or contact our HBCSD District Office at (424) 333-9975. Together, we’re building environments where education flourishes.
