Our HBCSD School Board President, Maggie Bove-La Monica, and Superintendent, Dr. Jason Johnson, accepted the California School Boards Association (CSBA) Golden Bell Award last night for our Equity & Inclusion Dashboard at the very prestigious annual CSBA Conference. The District won for its Transparency and Achievement in Academic and Climate Data. In the South Bay, we were one of the only school districts transparent about their student's academic achievement and climate data during COVID. We are very proud and excited to receive this award. Special shout-out to Sylvia Gluck, Director of Administrative Services, who designed and compiled the data shared.
