Boys & Girls Surf (In-Water) Tryouts (Grades 6-8) are happening on Wednesday, September 17, from 6:00-8:00 AM at the beach off 16th Street by the Lifeguard Tower in Hermosa Beach. A Surf Team Application needs to be completed and emailed to Coach Vasquez at [email protected] or dropped off in the Valley Front Office by Tuesday, September 2, by 3:00 PM. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Once on the Surf Team, parents/guardians must complete the HVS Athletic Forms (accessible only with a student's HBCSD email address). Additionally, it is recommended that students and parents/guardians review the HVS Athletics Handbook. Please note: No Zero Period Surf will be offered at this time.
