Returning & New Student Registration for the Fall of 2025 - NOW OPEN

 

Hello, Returning and New Hermosa Families,

 

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! Whether you’re joining our school community for the first time or returning for another exciting year, we’re thrilled to have you as part of the Hermosa Schools family.

 

To support a smooth start for your child(ren), all families are required to complete registration tasks through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please review the important details below.

 

Returning Families

Please complete your child's Returning Student Registration forms through the PowerSchool Parent Portal by Wednesday, August 13, 2025. These forms must be submitted in order for your child to receive their class placement or middle school schedule. 

 

New Families

Please log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and provide your electronic signature acknowledging receipt of the Annual Notifications by Wednesday, August 13, 2025. 

 

Please note: You will need your PowerSchool Parent Portal username and password. If you don’t remember your login information, please review the PowerSchool Parent Portal Directions.

 

PowerSchool Instructions

PowerSchool Parent Portal Online: 

1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
2. Click on the ”Forms” tab on the left navigation panel. 
3. Complete Student Information, Annual Agreements, and Emergency Treatment & Contacts.
4. Make sure to click “Submit” on each form to receive a completion message. Otherwise, your student will not be fully registered.

 

PowerSchool Mobile App:

1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal Mobile App.
2. Click on “More” at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Click on “Forms.”
4. Complete Student Information, Annual Agreements, and Emergency Treatment & Contacts.
5. Make sure to click “Submit” on each form to receive a completion message. Otherwise, your student will not be fully registered.

 

Class Placement & Middle School Schedule

Transitional Kindergarten (TK): Class lists will be posted at Hermosa View School on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM. A "Parent Only" TK Back-to-School Night will be at View from 5:30-6:15 PM.

 

Kindergarten-5th Grade Students: Parents/Guardians can log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 8:00 AM, to view their child’s class placement.

 

6th-8th Grade Students: Middle school students are required to attend Middle School Registration on Thursday, August 14, 2025, where they will pick up their class schedule. Schedules will not be released unless the Returning & New Student Online Registration is completed.
