HBCSD Strategic Plan 2025-2028

The Hermosa Beach City School District's Strategic Plan 2025-2028 provides a clear path for the next three years, centered on our goals of Excellence, Inclusion, and Community.

Excellence - Increase academic rigor and achievement for all students.
Inclusion - Foster welcoming, inclusive environments where every student feels valued and safe.
Community - Strengthen family, school, and community relationships to support student success and well-being.

Developed with input from students, families, staff, and community members, the plan reflects our shared vision for Hermosa Schools. Through our Listening and Learning and the Strategic Planning Survey held last spring, we gathered valuable insights that were instrumental in shaping the priorities and direction of the District for the years ahead.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the HBCSD Board of Education approved the Three-Year Strategic Plan 2025-2028. Progress updates will be presented to the Board of Education at least twice each year, with revisions made as necessary.
