HVPTO: Hermosapalooza Original Valley Student Artwork Deadline

HVPTO is hosting the first annual HVS rock concert, Hermosapalooza, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Patrick Molloy's in Hermosa Beach. Come be a part of music history as HVS celebrates Hermosa's musical heritage!

HVPTO is looking for student and parent bands to rock the stage while concert goers feast on grub and bev. All bands must include at least one HVS student or one HVS parent. Coast Music is generously providing the PA system, drum set, amps, and other backline equipment. If you have a band interested in performing, fill out the Hermosapalooza Video Submission Google Form. The deadline to submit is Friday, January 26, 2024.

Additionally, HVPTO is looking for Valley student artists to submit original artwork for event marketing and merchandise. Students may submit more than one entry. Each submission should be sized 8 1/2 by 11, may be either black & white or color, and should celebrate Hermosa and its musical heritage. Entries should be submitted to Valley Art Teacher, Ms. Ripley, no later than Wednesday, December 20, accompanied by this FORM. Valley Student Council members will select one or more of these entries to commemorate the event on souvenir posters and apparel to raise funds for HVPTO. Some or all entries might even be included on an art display to be held at the event!
